This page explains how Collectors Tools uses cookies and similar technologies. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They’re widely used to make sites work, or to make them work more efficiently.
What we use
We only set strictly necessary cookies. These are required to keep you signed in and to keep your session secure. Without them, features like your account, your collection, and offers wouldn’t work.
| Purpose | Type | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Authentication and session. Keeps you signed in and protects your session. | Strictly necessary | Session and refresh tokens; cleared on sign-out. |
We do not use cookies for advertising, marketing, profiling, or cross-site tracking. We do not allow third parties to set cookies for those purposes on our site.
Analytics
We collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (such as page views and load times) to help us improve the site. This is done without cookies and without identifying you.
Why we don’t show a consent banner
Under UK rules (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations), strictly necessary cookies don’t require consent. Because the only cookies we set are essential to running the service you’ve asked for, we don’t need to display a consent banner. If that changes, we’ll add one and ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookies.
How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Help pages for the main browsers:
Please note: if you block our strictly necessary cookies, you won’t be able to sign in or use any account-based features.
Changes to this policy
If our use of cookies changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. For any questions, email privacy@collectorstools.com.
