Which Michael Jordan Finals ticket is worth the most?

Read the two right-hand columns against the Graded column and they disagree. Four of the five games sell for between $321 and $427 at the median, in proportion to nothing in particular. The fifth, the Last Shot, sells for $3,811 on a population smaller than the Shrug's. Population comes from the PSA census we took on 8 July 2026, counting every form (stub, full ticket, pass) and every catalogue row for a game. Prices are the 115 unsigned, single-ticket sales we hold across these five games, out of 218 across all 35 Finals games Jordan played, recorded at Heritage, Goldin, Fanatics Collect and eBay from September 2014 to September 2026. Grades are read from PSA's label, not the lot title. This is the Finals slice of the wider Michael Jordan ticket market, which the 1984 debut dominates; the debut has its own breakdown.

The census leader

The most graded Michael Jordan Finals ticket is Game 1 of the 1992 Finals, the night he hit six first-half threes against Portland and shrugged at the broadcast table. PSA has graded 197 of them, and 182 sit in a single catalogue row: the Chicago Stadium "Home Game K" stub. Ninety-four of the 197, almost half, are Authentic rather than numerically graded. The market for it is narrow and stable. Twenty-three unsigned sales run from $113 to $1,000, the high a PSA 3 stub sold on eBay in July 2021. The most a house has taken for one is $848, for an Authentic stub at Goldin in April 2025 (cert 63376982); Heritage sold a PSA 4 the same weekend for $640. The two most recent sales, both in spring 2026, were $288 for an Authentic at Fanatics Collect and $299 for a PSA 3 on eBay, the same PSA 3 that had made $450 on eBay ten weeks earlier.

A ten-fold gap

The 1998 Game 6 ticket, Jordan's last game as a Bull and the shot over Bryon Russell that won the sixth title, is second in the census at 156 graded and first in the market by a distance. Its median is $3,811, 10.6 times the Shrug's, across 50 unsigned sales, and it trades far more often than its population suggests: 50 sales against 156 graded is one sale for every three tickets, where the Shrug has sold roughly one in nine and the 1996 clincher one in nineteen. A collector who wants the Last Shot ticket is competing for it in a way nobody is competing for the other four.

What one is worth now, on the evidence: the seven sales in 2026 have a median of $4,148, and the three most recent are all Goldin stubs, a PSA 6 at $4,575 and a PSA 5 at $4,087 in June (certs 158488975 and 158488974, consecutive numbers, one submission), then an Authentic at $3,355 on 16 August 2026 (cert 121827631). So a stub in any middling grade is a $3,300 to $4,600 ticket today, and a full ticket roughly double: the nine unsigned full tickets in the sample have a median of $8,412 against $3,300 for the 41 stubs. The full low end is $150, a PSA 3 stub on eBay in May 2018, before the 2020 to 2022 run took the game's yearly median from $495 in 2019 to $8,100 in 2022.

The record is a full ticket, and it has sold three times. Cert 41207668, a PSA 8 Delta Center full ticket, made $6,133 at Heritage in May 2020, $11,400 at Goldin in March 2021, and $20,000 on eBay in October 2024. The auction-house record is a stub: cert 30645732, a PSA 8 with an MK qualifier, took $14,400 at Heritage in February 2022, seven months after Fanatics Collect sold the same slab for $8,500. Behind those sit a PSA 4 full ticket at $11,444 (cert 66073018, Goldin, September 2022) and the single PSA 9 that exists, cert 17886881, which made $12,406 at Goldin in May 2022 after an eBay sale at $1,180 in October 2019.

The Shrug, PSA Authentic, $848 (April 2025)

The Last Shot, PSA Authentic, $3,355 (August 2026)

The gap is not explained by scarcity, because the Last Shot is not scarce: 156 graded is the second-largest population of any Jordan Finals game. It is explained by what the ticket records. The Shrug was Game 1 of a series the Bulls went on to win in six, a home game printed as "Game K" on a season-ticket strip. The Last Shot ticket admitted its holder to the end of the Bulls' six-title run, a Finals MVP performance and the last basket Jordan scored for Chicago, and there is no later Bulls ticket to compete with it. Buyers price that finality; the census only counts the paper.

The grade ceiling

No Jordan Finals ticket is a PSA 10. Across the 1,778 graded on 8 July 2026, the top grade reached is 9, twelve times over 35 games, and the Last Shot holds exactly one of them. Its ladder is heavy at the bottom: 53 Authentic, 56 in grades 3 to 5, and 8 at PSA 8. Those were tickets torn at the turnstile in Salt Lake City and kept for the game they recorded, not for their condition.

The price ladder is flatter than the grade ladder. Among Last Shot stubs, PSA 3s have a median of $4,575, PSA 4s $4,636, PSA 5s $3,844, PSA 6s $4,086, and the six unqualified PSA 8 sales $3,567. The one PSA 9, the finest Last Shot ticket PSA has seen, sold for less than the PSA 8 (MK) stub and the PSA 8 full ticket above it. A buyer paying for this game is paying for the game; from PSA 3 to PSA 8 the stub medians sit within about $1,100 of each other, and only a full ticket moves the price by thousands.

The other three

The three remaining games on the census board behave like the Shrug, not the Last Shot. 1996 Game 6, the fourth title against Seattle, has 134 graded and only seven unsigned sales on our record, from $92 to $660; the latest was a PSA 4 stub at $580 at Goldin in April 2026. 1992 Game 6, the second title, is the one with a real full-ticket premium: a PSA 4 full ticket made $3,388 at Heritage in May 2022 against a stub median of $427, and the best stub, a PSA 8 that Heritage catalogues as one of two with none higher, has fallen at each outing, $1,920 in May 2022, $1,080 in December 2024 and $946 in April 2026. 1998 Game 5, Jordan's last home game as a Bull, has 102 graded, a $321 median across 16 sales, a $76 low and a $1,200 high for a PSA 7 full ticket in November 2022; its two most recent sales, both Authentic stubs at Heritage in July 2026, made $144 and $378.

Put the five side by side and the pattern is one game priced apart from four. Game 5 of 1998 is two nights before the Last Shot, from the same series, with a population two-thirds the size, and it sells for a twelfth of the price. The Shrug and the 1992 clincher are eleven days apart and sell within $70 of each other. Nothing in the population column predicts which of these five a buyer will pay $3,811 for.

Census against market

A population report answers how many copies of a Michael Jordan Finals ticket exist and in what condition. It does not answer which one is worth the most, and for these five games it points the wrong way: the leader in the census is the cheapest of the top two by a factor of ten, and the second-place game outsells every other Finals ticket Jordan played in. Both readings are needed. The census tells you a Last Shot stub in PSA 5 is one of 19; the sales record tells you the last one cost $4,087.
